PREGAME
Purdue defensive tackle Jake Replogle will miss his third straight game today vs. Penn State.
Replogle has not played or practiced (as of Wednesday) since complaining of headaches following the Boilermakers' victory at Illinois on Oct. 8. He did not make the trip to Nebraska last week.
Freshman Lorenzo Neal started in Replogle's place as Purdue utilized the front it usually reserves for third downs and other rush scenarios. Gelen Robinson and Austin Larkin lined up on the ends and Evan Panfil, also an end, lined up at tackle.
Michael Mendez started again in place of senior left tackle Cameron Cermin. Cermin made the trip to Nebraska but did not play due to an ankle injury. Cermin was warming up with the No. 1 group pregame.
Replogle is still day-to-day after suffering a head injury against Illinois. Mike Carmin
